§ 20.08.030. Exclusions.

This chapter shall not apply to the following:
A.

Emergency operations for the protection of the general public and community;

B.

Mining or quarrying operations which are regulated by the department of labor, mine safety and health administration.

C.

Land management including but not limited to agriculture, ranching, recreation, forestry and conservation projects that can be shown to be in conformance with standards set forth by the soil and water conservation districts and in accordance with an actively pursued comprehensive conservation program, for the affected properties acceptable to the applicable soil and water conservation district board of directors, subject to the director's review and approval.
