§ 20.08.090. Grubbing and grading permit fees.

  • A.

    Before issuing a grading permit, the director shall collect a permit fee as set forth in the annual budget, for grading on the site based on the volume of excavation or fill measured in place, whichever is greater.

    B.

    Before issuing a grubbing permit, the director shall collect a grubbing permit fee as set forth in the annual budget.

    C.

    When grubbing and grading is performed by or on behalf of the county, the director shall waive the collection of any grubbing and grading permit fee as required in subsections A and B of this section.

    D.

    All units in a residential development in which one hundred per cent of the units qualify as residential workforce housing units, as defined in section 2.96.020 of this code, shall be exempt from the fee.

    E.

    A residential workforce housing unit, as defined in section 2.96.020 of this code, shall be assessed fifty per cent of the fee.

    F.

    All grubbing and grading permit fees shall be deposited in the general fund.
